Why are your products made with silicone? Is it safe for babies? Isn’t plastic better?

Silicone is made by bonding silicon (derived from sand) with oxygen and carbon, making it a highly stable and non-toxic material. Plastics, on the other hand, are petroleum-based products.

Studies have shown that plastic feeding items may release microplastics into food and liquids, which can enter the human bloodstream over time. While many plastic products are labelled BPA-free, they often contain alternatives like BPS and BPF, which may have similar harmful effects.

Silicone is a safer alternative. It does not leach harmful chemicals, is durable, heat-resistant, and ideal for baby feeding products.
